Welcome ButchVoices.LA Vendors!

Thank you for your interest in the Vendor Program for the BVLA Conference, (Friday through Sunday, October 8-10th, at Plummer Park Community Center, 7377 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90046. )
Our Vendor Program will allow a space for local and national lesbian & queer and/or queer-friendly sellers to promote their goods to a committed audience of Butches, bois, genderqueers, tomboys, studs, macha, dykes, two-spirit, and FtM & related trans-masculine people. Plus Femmes & allies.
We are expecting close to 500 attendees. By participating as a vendor, you will have an opportunity to sell merchandise, promote your business, and make connections with other business owners and crafters all while supporting queer, gay, lesbian Butch community.

Space Availability:

We will provide vendors one six foot table and two folding chairs, night time lighting & electricity, plus 1 Conference Registration ticket. You can purchase additional “Recession Special” registration tickets for your staff on the website under “Registration.”

VENDOR LEVELS

$60 for vendors selling any product(s) or service(s).

$120 for exclusive vendor rights (closes your product/service category to other vendors. You will be the ONLY seller of hats, shoes, rings, hair cuts, whatever. T-shirt exclusive not available.)

$20 for non-profits w/ literature only, no sales.

We provide 1 table+ 2 chairs. No free tickets at this level.

We would like to request that you donate one 1 item for the raffle to support your community. We are not asking for a percentage of your sales in addition to the table prices. What you make during the conference is yours to keep!

TIMES

To ensure maximum visibility for your table, as well as a good location that receives high-traffic from conference attendees, register ASAP. Spots will be given by order of date of registration.

Friday set up 3 -5 pm; closing 10:00pm (Registration is open from 5 to 9. Park closes at 11:00).

Saturday set up 7:30-9 am, closing 6 – 7pm. (The last workshop ends at 5:45. The Saturday night Show begins at 8 pm at another location).

Sunday set up 8:30- 9:30am, final close up 3 – 5 pm (not sure of exact Conference close. Check back.)

To minimize confusion and maximize courtesy to others, please respect the set up and closing times!

Contract: Each vendor is responsible for all clean up of their areas and proper disposal of all trash. Vendors release LEX and BVLA from any responsibility for any lost, stolen or damaged merchandise of vendor wares.
